Friends of the Israel Defense Forces is dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing of soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces. They are the only organization authorized to collect charitable donations for the IDF in the United States. This non-military organization raises funds for IDF training and providing the necessary tools for service. Friends of IDF was established in 1981 by Holocaust survivors and is a 501c3 corporation with offices in New York City.
