Founded by the de Villiers family after their son was lost to leukemia five years earlier, The Society has become the largest voluntary health organization for funding cancer research, education, and patent services in the world. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has invested more than $1.2 billion in research that has led to many of today’s innovative approaches to leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers.
