The Nora Sandiago Children Foundation focuses on keeping families together after splitting up during deportation from the United States. “La Gran Madre” (the great mother) has accepted guardianship for over 1,200 children to keep them from entering the foster system in a way that will result in losing complete connection with their parents in the future.
